In our workshop the craftsman from Intarsio use, beside the well-known traditional and modern finishing materials and techniques, the very special material Urushi, a product and technique out of the old Japan. Used for many centuries and still almost unknown in the western world, Urushi gives us the opportunity to use techniques impossible with other materials. This not only gives an extraordinary durable protection but also, when desired, a very exclusive and artistic appearance.

Urushi is not only used by us as a finish for our exclusive furniture, boxes, panels and other designs. When desired, at your request, we can also finish your designs, your furniture and other items with this high value special Japanese lacquer.
